Edinburgh Unit for Forensic Anthropology

For the needs of the MSc in Forensic Anthropology at the University of Edinburgh we have created a simulation of an unknown body found outdoors and asked the students to work in teams and properly record and recover the remains. Protocols of health and safety, evidence recovery and chain of evidence are applied. Finally the students are asked to produce a report containing full inventory of the remains and step by step the procedure of recovery.
